Vegetation for Games

CGMA: Vegetation & Plants for Games - Winter/Spring 2022

During this course, students created an environment through the design and development of vegetation and plants in different software. Some of the components include a pine tree (comprised of bark and pine needles) ferns, small and medium sized plants (including the Virginia Creeper), and ground foliage. The modeling was completed in Maya, Zbrush, and SpeedTree, textures in Substance Designer/Painter, and the layout was done in Unreal Engine 5. The process took 6 weeks to complete.

Software: Autodesk Maya, ZBrush, SpeedTree, Adobe Substance 3D Designer/Painter, Unreal Engine 5
