3D Printed Voronoi Shoe II
ARCH 5500: The World is Flat - Spring Semester 2015
Voronoi Shoe II is a continuation from previous iterations of Voronoi Shoe I; rather than a closed-toe shoe, this design utilizes the voronoi structure as a heel. The base of the shoe was designed in Rhinoceros 5 and Grasshopper and printed on a Stratasys Dimension printer. Red elastic bands were later added to secure one's foot. Structural analysis will be completed in the Karamba plugin for Rhinoceros 5 in order to achieve maximum comfort and support for future iterations.
